mental health support designed especially for neurodiverse women and girls
Mental Health Coaching, Group Work & Screening
I support neurodiverse women and girls to find their strengths, grow their wellbeing and recover from mental health difficulties. My approach recognises the unique challenges and strengths that hormones and neurodiversity have on mental health.
How I can make a difference
Whether you are autistic, ADHD, ADD, AuDHD or simply trying to understand yourself, I offer a safe, supportive space to talk through your experiences. My approach is kind, strength based, practical and affirming.
About me
"With lived experience of neurodiversity and mental health challenges, I bring a unique, compassionate perspective to my coaching, offering real-world insights and support."
I am a registered mental health nurse with the Nursing Midwifery Council (NMC 94I3467E) & a registered coach with the European Mentoring Coaching Council (EMCC) with full indemnity cover.
I have a BSc (Hons) in Mental Health, an MA in Applied Positive Psychology & Coaching with 25 years NHS experience treating anxiety, depression, emotional dysregulation and selfharm. My therapeutic approach utilises Brief Solution Focused Therapy; Cognitive Behavioural Therapy; Dialetical Behavioural Therapy, Systemic Therapy and Positive Psychology.
How my unique skill set can help you
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)
- Helps to notice patterns in thoughts, emotions, and behaviours.
- Offers practical tools for managing anxiety, low mood, and unhelpful thinking loops.
- Can be adapted to be more flexible and visual, making strategies easier to apply in daily life.
Brief Solution-Focused Therapy (BSFT)
- Focuses on strengths and what’s already working.
- Helps set small, achievable goals that feel realistic and empowering.
- Particularly useful when someone feels stuck and needs hope or momentum without going into the past in depth.
Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) Skills
- Provides tools for emotional regulation, distress tolerance, and building healthier relationships.
- Supports women who feel emotions very intensely or struggle with sudden overwhelm.
- Teaches grounding, mindfulness, and communication skills in practical, step-by-step ways.
Systemic
Therapy
- Looks at the bigger picture – relationships, family, culture, and community.
- Helps women understand how their neurodiversity interacts with social expectations and pressures.
- Creates space to explore identity, belonging, and ways to navigate relationships more confidently.
Positive Psychology
- Shifts the focus from “what’s wrong” to “what’s strong.”
- Encourages celebrating strengths, passions, and achievements (big and small).
- Helps build resilience, self-worth, and hope through practices like gratitude, flow activities, and meaning-making.
Why this matters to you as a neurodiverse woman
- Traditional therapy often overlooks the lived experience of being neurodiverse.
- These approaches, when adapted thoughtfully, provide both practical strategies (for regulation, coping, and daily challenges) and affirming support (to validate identity, celebrate strengths, and reduce self-blame).
- Together, they create a flexible, compassionate toolkit that can be tailored to your needs.
Why book a session now?
Taking the first step can feel daunting – but waiting often makes struggles heavier. There’s no “perfect time” to start – only the choice to begin now, with care and support beside you.
Beginning therapy now gives you the chance to:
- Feel supported sooner – don’t carry everything alone.
- Build coping strategies – tools that help with overwhelm, anxiety, and low mood.
- Create space to unmask – a safe environment where you can simply be yourself.
- Invest in your wellbeing – small steps today can bring lasting change tomorrow.

Walk & Talk Therapy
Sometimes it's easier to talk while walking side by side, in nature.
Why walk-and-talk?
- Movement can make conversations flow more naturally
- Being outdoors reduces stress and lifts mood
- Having Mungo alongside adds warmth, comfort, and a sense of ease
